I used a guy who came out to my yard, checked lorry over, fixed anything that needed fixing, booked MOT for us and took the lorry there and back - all i had to do was be there to give him keys! Will get the contact details from my dad and pm them to you later
Think we paid abot £150 all told for ours although only thing that needed fixing was the windscreen wash thingy!
Also CandR Days motors will do a pre-MOT check and MOT although maybe more expensive - not sure. Here's the link to his website http://www.candrday.co.uk/

Thanks Naomi, yes C and R are good, my friends go there but expensive. The number of the other one would be great thanks

Ok will speak to my dad when he comes in
We bought our lorry from C and R so know they are very good, but as you said they can be expensive
