Lorry standing still

I have a 3.5t Renault Master van conversion.
I usually go out in it anything from once a fortnight to 3 times a week, anything from an hour's drive each way to 10 minutes down the road.
She will obviously be stood still doing nothing for the foreseeable.
Unfortunately she's not parked on concrete/hardstanding which I know isn't ideal.
Is there anything I should do to look after her whilst she's not doing anything? Run her round the block occasionally, turn the engine on and leave her running sometimes, just leave her be? I'm not very mechanically minded if it makes any difference!
Posting in here as suspect there will be a few people with lorries in a similar situation!
 
I have been told to turn the engine over for at least 30 mins once a week and when taking for a quick drive, do some sharp braking to keep all the brakes from ceasing up.
 
Urgh I had meant to take mine for a spin last weekend. No chance now until after lock down. Good chance the battery will have died. Grrrrrr.

Is it enough to just turn it over stationary, or does it actually have to be driven? I read it had to be driven.
 
A friend has a solar panel that she leaves on the dash board in plugs in some where I know not where and it trickle charges her trick I wish I had found out more ad got one I will charge my truck twice a week and drive it up and down thendtive a few times now and again .
 
I always used to run mine in the past but now it can stand for anything up to two months without being started - went to the BD champs mid November and then it didn't get started until the end of February. OH kept staying it would be worse to move it and get the brakes wet and rusted up. Of course sun is now out so that is not an issue. If you can run it then ensure you leave it running for a while otherwise you are just draining the battery to start it and then not replenishing the charge.
 
Running it will be fine for the battery, but you need to move it a bit for the tyres. I can't remember what or why, but if you leave it standing completely for a period of time your tyres sort of degrade

This. And the brakes could well seize. Even a few backwards and forwards will help.
 
I'm sorry to admit I have no idea what is involved in hooking up the battery?
Also, if I take the handbrake off won't it roll away?!
However I can run it to the supermarket once a week or round the block a few times to keep it moving I am sure! But I will try to do it on dry sunny days so that no chance of things rusting/seizing up.
