As title , Ive googled, and looked over past topics, but everything seems to say differant so looking for personal experience really
I am aware a cat C is a similar price to a C1, but realistically im never in a million years going to drive more than a 7.5 tonne, so I have concluded I would feel happier taking the test in something smaller, and also after research have decided C1 will be easier to take due to gearbox differances.
Now cost. Ive been quoted £1200 all inclusive from a company, that included everything, medical, theory costs, 4 days training and test. And that was on a package tailored to horsebox drivers as opposed to general LGV training. Sounded good to me, but want to have a good look round and weigh up all my options before I come to a decision.
Just looking for general advice really, how much did it cost yo to get through your test, anything to look out for, any good offers, and finally if anyone knows of any good training centres in the yorkshire region that would be an amazing help.
Many Thanks
