Really silly question.....

How do i know the weight of my lorry??? Is it gross weight or axle weights added together???

gross weight is the maximum loaded weight, the axle weights is the maximum load each axle can carry.

The only way you can know the weight of your lorry is to take it to a weigh bridge. There are plenty around, you can find details of their locations on your local council website. It costs about £10 to get it weighed & you'll be provided with a certificate.

Without knowing the ulw of your lorry you will never know if you are likely to be travelling overweight.
