Losing faith and getting exasperated :(

How do you spell exasperated anyway?!
Back to the point of my post, i've been searching for two months now for a loan horse with view to buy. I suppose i'm being a bit fussy in that I want a gelding, preferably an ex-racer. A project horse.
But there's nothing about, not in Somerset anyway. ARRGH!
What awaits here is an experienced knowledgable home, excellent long term prospects and schooling facilities to bring out the best in the horse.
I've discovered during this search that there are alot of liars in the horseworld!
Where else can I look? I've done Friday-Ads, Horsemart, EquineAds, ProjectHorses, Horsehunter, HorseAds, pretty much all you can look in!!

there is a post below this one where someone needs to rehome 2 tb's. The post is called 'need to find them a home'. They are somerset based.Perhaps it may be a good idea to pm them and see whether the horses they have will suit your needs.

Agreed. You can pick one up for less than £500 now, and I'm sure you can find an ex-racer that needs some work/training/issues ironing out

Local horse sales/auctions often have them quite cheap. Also try ringing round racing yards. Other than that just browsing general adverts, seems to be a lot of ex-racers for sale atm x

There was a giel on Horsemart last week advertising two TBs for loan - think that may have been the Oxford one someone mentioned and she did initially say she would prefer them to stay within a certain radius of her home but, it also sounded she'd be open to offers from elsewhere if they fitted the bill.

If you are looking for a project there is a rather poor looking 2yo TB x Andalusian for sale on HM for £750 - that's in Glos i think. I think you may be better looking at buyingm yu can contact training yards in your area or the TB rehab centre etc etc. That is if you're looking specifically for a TB.
