On November 30th my mum and i lost out little 14hh Palmino pony. She was an absolute star to ride and gave it 120% everytime i competed her. Unfortunatly 3 years ago she had a serious accident resulting ia major operation to her hind leg, 4 weeks in equine hospital and lots of TLC then the 2 year battle of Laminitis began. We couldnt understand why she was getting it as she wasnt on any grass and the hay wasnt rich at all. We then came to our last result of finding out she had a rare type of cushings in her adrinal gland and she was on medication for the rest of her life. Unfortunatly her body was becomeing more immune to the drugs and in the end we had to say good bye, it was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do. My mum spent so much time and effort that we gave her an extera 3 years to her life that in the end she could go out in the field for a year and she ended it a happy pony before the winter came in and she would be in pain. I thank my lucky stars that i had such an amazing time with her and will miss her very much.
