My mare has been short behind for a while so I got the vet out about 3months ago and he diagnosed her with sacroilliac disease or discomfort (whatever they call it) She had her SI joint injected and seems so much better! Hasn't bucked or reared since and is hacking out happily- totally different horse!
But she is still short behind! The SI injections have fully kicked it so the lameness is something different. Today I had her right leg nerve blocked (where she seems to be lame) and nothing showed up! So now she is being referred to Liphook for bone scans.
Thought it may be kissing spine but she shows no major discomfort when being ridden apart from being short behind but it does slightly improve with work.

Does anyone have any clue what is going on here?!
