Loss of use?

The horse will be freeze marked with an L in a circle, underneath the regular freezemark. I'll try and find a pic for you.

When you have them marked loss of use, if they don't have a 'regular' freezemark it will be done at the same time. Its one of the conditions of the LOU payout that the horse is marked if its not being PTS.
 
He isn't too good tbh. He's very stiff today and seems in a lot of discomfort although been having danilon twice daily since Wednesday. I'm going to get vet out on Monday and organise xrays on his back asap......
The sad thing is this horse has lived like this for at least the last 3 years ( thats as far as i have managed to trace back so far). We wouldn't let a dog carry on like it, but I just need to know I've done all I can ........
I hope ppl out there are as kind to the horses I've had to sell over the years.
 
Aww bless you, at least you are giving him the best chance, the poor lad i hope everything turns out well for him but sounds like you will do whatever is needed, i know i try not to think of the one i sold who i lost contact with theres really no point its out of your hands you did best finding homes for them you can only hope that people are as decent as they make out. good luck with everything x
