Lost Dog

Got up this morning and my dog is missing!

She is a Jack Russel Cross rough coated white and tan bitch about 4 years old. They have acccess to the garden through a dog door and she has gone sometime in the night. I only picked her up on Monday from a rescue centre. She is very friendly and wearing a purple collar. I had all the fencing replaced before I got her so I don't know how she's got out.
She is chipped but I'm not sure if my details will be live on it yet as they were only filled in on Monday.
I've phoned dog warden police and local vets. Any other suggestions?

I would contact the rescue centre as well. They will be able to tell you definately about the chipping issue. Also, do you know where she came from originally as she may be heading home! Dogs can travel lots of miles in search of an old home. Good luck, hope you find her soon.

Great news! Had she wandered far?

No but someone had picked her up and was waiting for local Vets to open. I'd already left a message there so when she was dropped off they rang me straight away.

Phew, glad you found your dog, I'd have been panicking had it been mine
