Lost GSD Maidstone

I don't know the full story, a friend posted on fb. I "think" the bitch was adopted by someone who saw her over in Poland, they may even be Polish themselves, not sure. I do agree there are plenty of GSDs in rescue over here, but hate to think of this poor bitch running loose. Allegedly the courier made no attempt to catch her, just called the owner and then drove off. :(

URGENT LOST GSD- CAN ANYONE HELP Pls?
My friend has adopted this geotgeous GS girl from Poland, she was being transported here when she managed to escape from the courier's van at 1am Friday/Saturday night around Maidstone Service on M20.
The courier would not try to catch her, just called my friend and drove off.
My friend drove there and is trying to find the dog, had a sight of ...her but the poor girl was very scared and run off - she was at a private dog hotel in Poland for 6 months prior to arrival here to complete the necessary paperwork and does not really know her owner to come when called.
She has been missing since 1 am lthe nigth before, last sighting at the service station around 1 am night.
Police have been informed and are trying to help as they also get calls from public aout a GS running loose.....
She must be very scared, she has been in Poland all her life so even people calling her - she probably have no idea what is going on poor thing as the language is different.
Her name is Hera, she is a GS, chipped, neutered etc etc.
Here is wearing a collar and had a black lead attached to it when she escaped - may be easier to catch her if found....
In the hotel she was living with several other dogs and there were kids around, Hera was not in a cage, loose in the house and garden and never shown any agression so far.

A bit far from me but I would organise visits to the services.with friendly dogs and see if she can be drawn in.
The truck drivers can be very good at times like this so the word needs getting out to them. I'll chip in a fiver towards a reward.
 
Thanks goodness for that, poor dog and I hope they complain about the courier.

My friend had a cat delivered last Friday from France, delivered to his door, and highly recommends this courier.
 
The courier seems to have been a nightmare from what I've read. He still has all the bitches paperwork and can't be contacted to hand it over. Luckily it seems that customs or whoever checked at the Eurotunnel have records so they do know the bitch has all required papers otherwise I imagine she would have had to go into quarantine.

This courier needs outing. Unforgivable behaviour. Good that he hasn't been paid.

Copies of documents can be had from the vet in Poland and usually cost similar to starting again for the passport. Just the copy vaccs may be free.

Whereabouts in Maidstone was the dog lost,it's just that my daughter and i spotted one running loose in Dean Street,East Farleigh yesterday afternoon,but it ran off before we could get out the car.
