not sure where i stand here ? won an item off ebay several weeks ago from well known shop ( lots people had probs , had bidded before i knew) i have emailed a few times and kept saying item was on way, anyway have checked with post office and nothing, they are now asking me if i paid for insurance, i just paid what came up at the total payment box so i dont think i did, surely they have proof of posting or have i lost my money, i paid by cheque, i have requested money back. no comments, am peefd off, help, sorry if i am being thick

saddlery shop by any chance?

If it was you will have paid for insurance because they arent daft and always add seem to it to the invoice and make it impossible for you to remove!
Saying that Ive bought quite a bit of stuff from them and its never been sent insured even though I paid for it.

open up a non receipt claim through ebay, there is no excuse for them not getting back to you.

yes was them, am fuming, explained it was a present and needed it by friday, their replies are very short and sweet, will never use them again b......s

Did you pay by paypal? i stand corrected if i am wrong but i am sure under a certain amount of money you are covered by their buyer protection policy ( think its under £500 ) if you raise a dispute with ebay and paypal they might be able to reimburse you. The seller should have proof of purchase.

thats the trouble it seems they have the upper hand, its a no win, i slate them and then they slate my feedback too

I'm in the same boat (probably different seller though). Paid through PayPal and item never came. Their messages are pretty rude. TBH, my item didn't cost much, so I am not going to take it further. I have 100% positive feedback, so don't want any negative.

i have 100% also, its just their attitude, and to be honest if they do that every so often they are quids in, no wonder items are cheaper

they have been known not to send items if they have ended at too low a price and claim they dont have it in stock, yet most of the time the item is listed on other auctions so it obviously is in stock!

I would leave neg feedback. Just state fact. Item not recieved no refund given and no proof of posting offered. That says it all! Just wait a few weeks to give them a chance. However, you have to register a complaint with ebay within a given time, about 28 days or something.so check this quickly.
Ebay need to know.
You only get refunded by paypal if you paid via paypal and if the company has money in its paypal account.
We all need to know to steer clear.

Sorry for both Jaylen and sodapop that it's gone wrong for you but please reconsider your attitude to leaving feedback where there is a chance you may get a neg in return. It's the only way you can warn others and if more people in the past had left negs then you might not have got caught out!

If you open a dispute and the seller doesn't respond then the negative they left you can be removed, yours to them remains. If you can't get the neg removed then reply to it in a calm dignified manner that payment was sent and received by the seller but that the item never arrived and nor did any refund.

Hope it works out for you both and that you eventually receive your items and have no need to neg - but if the seller deserves then please please do leave one.

If negative feedback is left unfairly towards you, you can have it removed by eBay at their discretion, send eBay an email first, to explain exactly what has happened. If your postage was Parcel Force, Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery your item WILL be insured for an amount, from £30 upwards.

thanks for all your replies, please pass the word on they are naff, wouldnt want someone else to get stung, i am going to complain to ebay and email SADDLERY4U to tell them exactly what i think of them and that i have reported them, it will make me feel better, even if i dodnt get my money back.
