A friend has told me that a brindle female lurcher ran off from its disabled owner yesterday (15 Jan) whilst in Rendlesham Forest, near Woodbridge, Suffolk. The dog is muzzled.
The dog warden, and various lost dog websites have been notified and the local travellers asked.
Please PM me if you have any sightings of the dog, whose name is Abi.
(Also in AAD section)

You trired local Dogs Trust? We found two dogs wandering xmas eve - we thought they'd been dumped. Rang vets to see if we could go get them checked for microchips etc. this was after we'd tried police who said they'd heard nothing (had this person rung the police and reported it?).

As vets were closed we rang dogs trust to see if anyone had reported the dogs. Thankfully they had. We managed to return the dogs to their owners - they'd been missing since 6:30 am (it was now gone 4pm!). The owners had contacted the police, dog warden etc. Basicallly the police lied to us as they must not have checked their records. Thank got the owners called dogs trust as after police and vets they were our next call. Def log the lost dog with them. They are so well known publicly i think people do call them before others to be honest.
