lost one of my horses yesterday :'(

I went up to feed my field horses yesterday and my gorgeous blacj mare had been kicked so hard in the head that she was blind, her head was 4x its normal size and her eyes were bleeding! ive never seen a kick so bad in my whole life, my poor mare!
it took an hour for the vet to come pts im gutted!

I'm so sorry. How horrific. I had a similar experience in waiting for a vet one time. They were always prompt for minor things and the one time I really needed them I couldn't seem to get one. Not their fault but it made it more agonizing for horse and me.
