Lost passport

The owners of the horse I have on loan have lost her passport and cant remember what agency she was registered with. What should I do? Just apply for a new one? shes microchipped. They think shes possibly reg with horse passport agency but not 100% sure. I dont want to buy her until she has one!
 
ring up pet log and give them the mircrochip number, they will tell you who shes registered with and then you can tell the passport agency its gone missing in the post.. usually does the trick, and apply for a new one.

Thanks, turns out shes from Ireland. Apparently microchips starting with 372 are from Ireland. No luck in tracing her tho, apparently I dont have enough digits! Her chip is 14 long, should be 15??? But the vet who did the vetting is very through so i dont understand!
 
Surely you can trace her through her registered name though? if not, just ask someone to scan her microchip to obtain the full number.
