I had to remove my horses front shoe yesterday as it had slipped round and was in a very dodgy place.
Anyhow, I have a ODE (only 2'6") in less than 2 weeks time, and really need to keep working my horse - especially the dressage part! I cant get hold of my farrier today, so likely it will be a couple of days before I can get shoe back on.
I dont have a school anyway, but was thinking about just staying in the field and doing some schooling, maybe some canter work too to keep the wildness at bay!
Do you think this would be ok - he was trotting round his field yesterday, not lame on the foot, however, if I took him off the grass he would be a hobbling, pathetic heap!
