‘BONNY’

Our beautiful English Springer Spaniel bitch went missing on Monday 28th December between 11.30 am and 12.40 pm.

She is hugely missed and our children are absolutely devastated.

She is predominantly white with black markings on her head and hind quarters.

She is two years old, very, very friendly and answers readily to her name.

Her loss has already been registered with the police, dog wardens and local vets.

If you know where she is or can help us to locate her, please call us urgently. A reward will be paid for her safe return

PM Me with any info and i'll give you the numbers to ring

thankyou so much for taking the time to look

Ashridge Estate Nr. Aldbury ect got a big monument but if you could pass it on we think she may have been stolen so getting the word around is fantastic also!

Have the owners rung the Dogs Trust? I only ask because we found two very lost looking dogs wandering round the village the other day (think was xmas eve). We didn't recognise them and they were VERY cold and wet and equally eager to get in our car. We assumed they'd been dumped.

We rang the police they weren't interested and said no dogs had been reported. We then rang the vets to see if we could take them to get them checked for chips. Vets were closed (this was about 4pm). We then rang Dogs Trust. They were about to close so suggested we ring dog warden. We were reluctant to. The woman then said her colleague just got off the phone to someone reporting dogs matching the description. Turns out they were from the next village. We returned them - they'd been missing since 6:30am!!! Owners very grateful but they HAD rung this police and reported them even though the police told us they hadn't heard anything!!!

Thanks to the Dogs Trust we quickly got these dogs home and evidently the owners had thought the same and contacted them so I would suggest that to these owners too.

I hope they find their dog. I have been there, it's horrible but hopefully someone, like us has found her wandering and taken her home.

Doglost.co.uk has always proved invaluable- will put the word out. Fingers crossed al's well and he;s found safe and sound.
