Lost Vaccination cards

Hi everyone,

Quick question - I was having a spring clean over the weekend and moved all my pet vaccination cards into a new 'pet draw' (for all paperwork etc, not for actually keeping the pets in - not sure i'd fit a lurcher, JRT, Cat and horse in one draw!) and i noticed Millie's vaccination record card was no where to be seen, I've looked high and low and cant find it anywhere. I was sure it was with the Cat and Horse cards, but its not. Do i need to start from scratch again? or do vets generally show a 'back dated' vac record if this happens. I'm not overly bothered if i do have to start again, but was just wondering if anyone else knew? - really incase i require emergency kenneling. - oh and just to say she's not overdue - she isnt due to be vaccinated until July - that much i do know (mainly because she was done on the same day as the cat for her second vac!)

As long as you have used the same vets over the past couple of years they should have copies of her vaccination history and I imagine would be happy to either give you a print off or just carry on with her boosters as normal and put on a new card.

Thanks - thats the kind of answer i was hoping for - she's only a year old, so she's only had her frst vaccs, although her 1st one was done as a present by a friend of mine who is a vet, the 2nd was done by my normal vets... so they may not be happy to, hmmm will give them a ring and see what they say.
