Louis has ruptured his Achillies :(

X ray showed chipped bone in the hock and ruptured achillies tendon

4 weeks in a restrictive bandage to extend the hock with no exercise. If that doesnt work its an operation to pin it all together.

Thank god he's insured and the prognosis is ok.

Now for the hard part. Keeping him quiet!! Have had to that on 2 occasions with my rottie. Good luck!

no pain killers or anything, just the worlds biggest bandage (and the most expensive!!!)

He's feeling very sorry for himself at the moment.

Not relishing keeping him quiet, boxers don't really do quiet very well!

My friends boxer had his leg broken by one of their horses - 2.5k of surgery later he was all mended - the worst was trying to get him to stay quiet..........
