My welsh D has been off on his break now since the end of April - when i bring him back into work in october it would have been a good 5 months turned away. I decided to turn him away for several reasons.....
1. Time. I have a coloured cob and have been concentrating on her lately, she's been going so well
2. The welsh D felt like he needed a break....i always find they come back better after a few months off to chill out. He's quite spooky by nature and a bit of time out seems to do him good. He is 7.

So, the plan is to start a bit of lounging with him. My aim is to get him doing a nice prelim/novice test by spring next year.
Please can someone recommened a good lounging aid to help build him up in the right places

Comfy jimjams, pipe and slippers? Sorry couldn't resist.

I use roller, side reins and a tail bandage attached to roller and round his back end to lunge. Far cheaper and less faff than an Equiami which is allegedly better than the Pessoa.

don't forget chocolate and a warm blanket in winter:)

bridle, roller bungee put between legs mainly and I lunge with a leather attachment to the bit for the lunge line, I have used a bandage on back end as well.
