I've always had a thing about grooming, tacking up and then riding your own horse (most have been coz I was horseless :p) - well I've moved onto groom, tack up and have a lesson on your horse. I am planning to get an instructor on foot but for now I thought I could try out the Sound Schooling lessons :D

Tried it out today, on my share horse Harry, and it was great. We only did the warm up as a trial just to see if money was worth it to pay for some more but even this focused me and it knackered Harry out (he even got a tad sweaty just doing this basic warm up ) since he isnt used to it - often its a case of me wondering what to do next with him etc.. and he hardly breaks into a sweat.

So I've come home and brought a load more to try out, so excited (and motivated!) to do some schooling now :D Anyone else tried these audio lessons?

Just googled it and they look great! Just out of interest, what kind of level are you working on with your horse? I would be interested in these but would be worried that they would be too complex for what I wanted to do.
ETA another question, what kind of things does the Basic Warm Up include?

I'm at Prelim / Novice level so brought the lessons that are suitable. Clear instructions and explains what you doing and why etc :) The warm up includes stuff mainly like flexion so corners, circles and shallow loops and getting the horse listening to you in all three gaits :) Hope that helps you
