The basic one is free, but if you pay a little bit you get the full monty. So you download your local ordinance survey map to your smartphone ( iPhone or android) and you can see all the bridle ways, track your route and at the end see your trip profile, complete with average speed, top speed, even your altitude. If you are really geeky you can load your trip onto your computer. Really cool and has saved our skins when out arguing about the route ( generally when lost on Blackheath) :)

I use Runtastic for tracking hacks but I was just saying today when we were exploring a new route, how useful it would be to be able to see bridleways at the time rather than having to check when I get home.

I too use Endomondo for riding, running and walking but this sounds great if you can see the map on your phone and then track your route. Thank you!
