Does anyone else sometimes get an overwhelming feeling of love for their horse/pony? The other day I was just watching her tucking into her hay then she looked over the door at me and she just looked so happy (obviously because she was eating) and I just thought god I love her so much. Then I felt silly lol

I have felt very much in love with mine this week. Even ( or should that be especially) when she has been a little monkey and pulled a grumpy face. She makes me laugh lots. I can't ever feel too daft about loving her though - OH is far more soppy over her

Yep!

I was in tears the other night (proper wracking tears!) because ive not been able to see him as much recently due to various moving stress and sharing a car with my OH. Hes on full livery.. i know hes fine but god i hate not being there for him!

Hate to think what im going to be like when hes right outside. I bet anything that i cant stop going out to check on him.

Oh my goodness, I have owned my old boy for nearly 17 years and when I realised that he was not immortal as I nearly lost him (sorry to be gloomy

) I was distraught .... I tell my old boy how much I love him every night I leave him .... he means the world to me and I think he knows it

oh, and some! it's the little whinney i get when i walk up the lane to his field, to bring him in that does it. probably got something to do with the feed he always gets, but now the OH is getting the same reception

and i was daft enough to think i was the only person in The Cob's world who was good enough for this treatment..... nah! i still love my coloured catastrophe to bits - always have and always will.....

Yeah, I get a bit jealous when she lets other people bring her in and things but when I come towards her in the field and I see her nostrils start moving..then i get closer and she does a little whinny as if shes saying hello..I know she doesnt do that to anyone else

totally feel it for my horses too!!
My 5yr old is as good as gold...I rode for 12 miles yesterday and he only throw a little bit of a strop by stamping his back leg cause we took a while undoing a gate while I was on him....apart from that he is great....
My little pony is lovely...I have owned her for 18 yrs now and I feel I have a really good bond and know her inside out....
People say horses dont care who they are with as long as they are fed...! I believe that is the case for some horses...Like my old mare, but not with the two I have.
