Just got back from a fantastic Hack on Indy the TB and her little boyfriend Cyril known as Mr squirrel to his friends ;)

Both were amazing, met some tractors, lorries, dogs and a million motorbikes baring in mind this is their first hack out together and my first hack on Indy lol ! She was cheeky to begin with as has played up before scaring her owner who would get off, so sent her into trot as a horse thinking forwards wont go up ;) soon settled and we had a lovely spanking trot going on :)

Anywhoo both where fab, had a bit of a spook at some ponies running at us both nothing serious and came back extra happy :D i have really missed hacking its so peaceful and now i have someone to go with. When tessy is back in work all 3 of us can enjoy a good old hack :) :D

Thats brill. I love it when things just seem to flow without anything happening. You both have very big smiles on your faces in the pic. :D

Sounds fab! I took my tb out too, went down to the river near our yard and had a good gallop on the way back.

Token picture of the girly hacking this week :)

So many things could have gone wrong, youngish horses, first time out together and all sorts of scary things but no :D I was beaming and so was my friend Cassie.

Oh she is beautiful ! Looks like you had a great time, weather looks better than here too !

Took youngster down to the industrial estate, alongside the dual carriageway and down some back lanes to try out a bridlepath. None of them blinked at HGV's or traffic, but the golf course was terrifying  lots of people in bright clothes!

Then had a good canter across some fields, through some woods. My baby pony had to be on gate duty out of all three and was very good, holding them open before going through. An absolute star!

Wash down and then rode her bareback down to the fields. At times I worry that I'm ruining her, but then cantering in company she was at the back and very calm in her snaffle, no racing or overtaking. Chased some cows off the path too, mastered all the gates and was just a dude. So very proud :D

We tackled a golf course too ;) Horrible things are golfers apparantly lol !

Aw sounds amazing ! and so well behaved most horses i know would run away from cows :D horse eating monsters its well known ;)

I think she has ideas about becoming a cowpony. I, however, want an eventer :p

I was once riding pony (hired for a beach ride) that took off with me across a golf course. Down the fairway, managed to run it into a bunker and stop at which it did the biggest shyte known to mankind :o I think golf courses and horses don't mix :D
