could not get car up to stables thought we might have to abandon like so many others and only 20 yds from stable, reversed down hill to main road then out and walked got there and let bess out for roll in snow then quick groom and tack up straight into field it was great walked, trotted a little and even a nice canter ok all within 15 mins and I felt good as not rode bess more than once this passed 3 weeks thought if I fall off at least I would have a soft landing...
