Donkeys can be pretty good livestock guardians, so I can imagine he has!

I seem to remember this donkey was a wild-caught burro to start with as well, from the original posting of the story (unless there are two of them out there!) ... He looks great, either way, and clearly has a family that is working for him now, even thought I imagine it might have been a hard adaptation of necessity to start with.
