I have a couple of Loveson rugs for Ali (I have a huge rug collection
) and they're brilliant for the price IMO. He has quite a wide chest and shoulder, and Horseware Ireland rugs rub him badly, but his Loveson rugs are one of the few brands that don't rub him
I picked one up in a sale a few years ago - a 6' 9". Was good fit length wise, but far too short for my boy - looked like he was wearing a mini skirt!! Gave it a friend on the yard and it fitted her mare who normally wears at 6'3" really well. Have to say thought the quality and style (full neck) was very good and was disappointed that Ludo didn't get to wear it!!
my late mare banner had one. as ludi-doodi said they fit beautifully length ways but i used to call it her 'hot pink mini' lol
she loved it though, she just looked a bit tarty!
I bought one as needed one in a hurry and local feed merchant sells them - it was only going to be a spare as I wasn't excpecting much for a £40 MW T/O - have to say it is brilliant although does take a bit longer to dry than the dearer ones - horse never gets wet though.
I have loads of problems finding rugs that don't rub his shoulders as although MW he is deep from wither to point of shoulder and quite broad - the Loveson is one of the only ones that doesn't rub.
Had it 5 years now and comes up like new when it's washed
I find the loveson ones are the best for my TB's no rubs anywhere with them. brilliant things. I have the LW TO, HW T/O combo, a cotton sheet, a waffle sheet and the flysheet. If I had the money I would replace most of my rugs with them.
I have just a couple of waffles & fleeces of theirs, all under £20, very smart, fit well & have lasted well despite by tb's desire to destroy them!
