Hi guys!!

I have decided to put our fatty on Lo-Cal Balancer and wanted to put a chop/chaff with it so he has something to munch on but don't know what's best.

Do any of you have any suggestions for a low calorie/low fat chop or chaff that I can use? :)

I use no-molasses ossi chaff after a recommendation on here if I need a 'no rubbish' chaff! It is litteraly just chopped fibre - no alfafa/oil/sugar or dust. Fab stuff. It isn't available everywhere but if you give them a ring they are the most helpful friendly company I have ever dealt with. http://www.ossichaff.com/

Ask around, there may be someone local to you who produces hay chop. its just that, chopped hay, with no preservatives or mollases in it.

Failing that, fast fibre.

Have you tried Hi Fi Lite? You can always call Dengie and chat with them, they seem like a helpful bunch and have helped me lots!

Must admit, Hi-Fi lite was on my list to have a look at, and was hoping someone might mention it as my local tack shop sells it.

I guess I want to give him something he'll enjoy eating and testimonies are always useful!!

I've just looked up the Spillers Happy Hoof and the molichop lite, and they seem like a good ones as well. Think I will see if the tack shop do either of them and take it from there.

Thanks again for all of your advice, as always, very helpful!! :D
