Hi, I'd love a bit of advise on tweed jackets please. I'm tall slim with monkey like arms and usually need everything made to measure (unfortunately)

I really like the look of the Equiport tweed jackets (shame about ridiculous price!)

Question is does anyone have one and is either the oatmeal tweed showing jacket suitable for low level eventing or the green tweed showing jacket? I personally like the oatmeal but I don't want To stand out at my first BE event in an incorrect tweed! Thanks

How are the Equiports for sleeve length? I have a short torso with ridiculously long arms, and ended up having my tweed made to measure. Was no more expensive than many of the higher-end off-the-rack ones.

I have the Olive green Equiport one and have been eventing in it for three seasons - looks very elegant and not out of place at all.

I had M2M as I'm a funny shape (thank heavens for gift vouchers - all the family chipped in for b'days and xmas!) so can't comment on the standard sizing - I seem to remember there was a size chart on their website and they do regular and long lengths. I'm short with a high waist and couldn't find any jacket anywhere that looked right so they made one especially for me - I'm a lucky girl!

I've noticed that pretty much anything goes at the lower levels - I've seen people with patent boots with blingy bits on, which I'm not sure is officially allowed. I reckon discreet and smart is the way to go!
