low level showing question

Hi,
I normally ride me ex racer in a flash (he does need it) although looking to get a grackle/mexican instead. He also has a martinglae on as he was throwing his head up too much however he is now better and rarely chucks his head up.
I am taking him to our yard show (very low level/local) I am wondering if i can show him in his flash? I realise the martingale will have to come off so will ride him in it first then remove it so he still thinks its there!! haha

I should think so. Reg only had his taken off at a qualifier, and for low level I'd probably keep the martingale on too... I'd rather spend a bit longer with the safety belt aspect in return for a few ribbons!

ok thanks, it is actualy a breastplate with martingale attachment. i will probably go for safety aspect as it will be his first show with me and i dont fancy causing massive problem just to try and get a ribbon best to have a good experience!!
