Can anyone give me a clue as too what you would feed for a low protein diet?

So far the lowest protein feed I can come up with is Mollichop hoofkind. Any other suggestions?

My old horse had to regenerate his liver and had to be fed a low protein diet it was a while ago but from what i can remember he had fibergy, barley rings, grass nuts and speedibeet

Hope this helps

Hi princess, yes it does help, thanks very much. Horse has suspected liver problem, so looking to get her on low protein diet this weekend.

My pony is on a low protein diet for liver damage too, he has Mollichop Veteran, Spillers high fibre cubes and speedibeet. He also has Dodson & Horrell milk thistle and D&H Yea sacc (probiotic) Good luck with your mare :)

My mare was showing high liver enzymes and they are slowly reducing as is now on a low protein diet.
The vet advised me to feed her speedibeet and micronised barley. She also has tested positive for lots of allergies and these are ones she not allergic too but support the liver function.
