Who's going to Burghley next week? I'm there all week - can't wait!!

Im going on Saturday with the bf, have just warned him he will get muddy and it involves lots of walking , not sure he is so keen now ... !

In 2008 it was really muddy, particularly in the trade stands, so it may well be again as we've had lots of rain in Lincs. Definitely wear wellies!

Haha! Don't get me started on wet and muddy, if anyone here went to the XC at Badders this year, they will know what I'm talking about!! xx

Does anyone know what would be a good time to get there on the Saturday ? and also can you see the times for the XC before the day as we particularly want to watch one rider and it would be nice to know what time they are on before we arrive!

yes, I'll second that! even the 4wd's were struggling to get out in 2008!

my sister and I are both taking our OH's, and they don't want to watch the dressage so they're going to go play golf instead on friday!

I am going My favourite time of year.

I marshall the cross country course so I get tickets for all 4 days. I can only go on Fri/Sat/Sun so if anyone wants 2 tickets for the thursday let me know! I can post them to you

MUDDY?!!!!!!!!

Muddy it was worse than muddy!!! It was like slurry it was horrible walking down the hills and half of the tradestands wanted you to take off your boots before you went in!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely take wellies - 2008 was the worst year ever, I'm sure small children and dogs got lost in the mud!

And I think there's been more rain this year and more is forecast.
