The racing world rocked on its heels when the owner decided to remove his horses from this World Class trainer after 20 years and many wonderful horses.
There was a video of Postponed in the last few days, he looks fabulous, but I can't find it now.
What a shame, we all have spats because we are passionate about our horses, but even that has not been suggested publicly. Though I assume the Sheikh has taken offence at something.

I've just had a look on Racing Post website over the last few days' news posts and in the one titled "Farewell Postponed" there is a link to Sara Cumani's video tribute if that's the one you mean. I just watched it - what a lovely horse.

Can't/won't even begin to wonder why...

There is a story that was told in Newmarket : Sheikh Hamdan had all his horses at Warren Place, and he was puting on a big garden party, when the extensive and expensive guest list was drawn up it was noted he had missed his trainer.............. said he ............ "why would i invite my servants?" ....... I often wonder.
Certainly some of these guys are far from low profile, taking about six hangers on and security types in to the parade ring, and they expect us all to make way for them......... I don't make way even for our own royals, nearly ran in to P Edward at York lol .
The Queen, I respect , thats about it.

That's so sad. How rude. But what would someone like him worry about what a mere mortal like me thinks. Deep down, I suspect people like him must be pretty miserable, and wouldn't (or couldn't) understand the true joy of horses (or life). Thing is, I bet P Edward wouldn't have minded a bit if you'd accidentally run into him - and probably would have done the very British thing of saying sorry to you!

Indeed he did, we exchanged smiles!
