Is anyone joining? I’ve signed up, since I’m miles from trainers and trying to get out eventing again on a 4 year old with no facilities and no help.....think I need all the guidance I can get ?
Would love to hear from anyone who did it last time.

Lucinda produced a very good video a long time ago on how to approach every sort of cross country fence you are likely to find. I don't know if it is still available as a DVD. It was quite basic, but sometimes we need basic and it was useful.

In a cross country clinic setting don't do too much and get the horse over tired.
I have known two quite serious accidents from a cross-country schooling day and it boiled down to the fact that the horses were asked "just one more" before we go. One was a very serious rider accident and the other was a career ending horse injury.

I was able to watch a couple of xc clinics she lead. I don’t jump but she made me wish I was riding and could have a go too. Everyone participating seemed to take a lot away from the sessions, she spent a lot of time on questions and answers too

The in person clinics sound amazing!
This academy is an online thing started because of Covid, some of the taster videos were really good, I love the simple ethos and common sense training methods. Hopefully it will help as I am too remote to have regular proper lessons (nearest trainer over an hour away...!)
