Does anybody use it? My Farrier has recommended it to me but there is only one stockist in the UK which is out of stock so I’ve had to order it from Italy. Apparently it’s great for horse’s with thin soles prone to bruising… my boy has started to feel the stones a bit more as he’s got older and has a had a couple of bruises lately so I am willing to give anything a try! Just wondered if anybody on here uses it?

I don't get this. It is a frog disinfectant surely? I'm not sure why it would help thin soles.

If your horse is older and starting to feel stones I would first be testing for cushings and then booting (presumably he is unshod)

No he is shod. Apparently the liquid helps to grow thicker and stronger tissues (that what it says anyway?) ?‍♀️

OK I bow to his knowledge. :) not sure how it would work

SOS-Frog by Lucky Fox is a spray disinfectant for the frog.

It is a professional product recommended for farriers and breeders. It has beneficial effects in the case of the frog rotting, worms, abscesses and detachments. When applied regularly to the affected area, it helps the regrowth of tissues.

neither am I but he says he’s had good results in some of his other client’s horses so I’ll try and see. He’s the best farrier I’ve ever had and really does rake his time and care so I do trust what he says. We have just had two bruises in the last couple of months (both from standing on a stone wrong out hacking so it may just be coincidence but just trying to do what I can)

Hadn’t thought about cushings testing. He has no other symptoms though so not sure it would be that?

Please post an update when you get the product! I've been battling thrush in my mares feet all winter and more recently unexplained bruising too, if it works as your farrier suggests it sounds like it would be perfect for her.

Recently switched to the Keratex hoof gel which I think has taken about 6 weeks to see any difference and not sure it's worth it.

I’ll do an update when it arrives. I’ll try and take pictures too. It was £48 including the import fees so I hoping it does something! ?

Its just sanitiser. Its not going to do anything that milton or similar wouldn't do. They've just worded it cleverly to make you think its going to cause healthy tissue growth.
