Lucy realy makes me laugh sometimes.

Lucy lives in a water meadow and due to all the snow we had and now all the rain half her field is under water. (she has lots of dry area to stand and eat and has a haylidge net full tied to the fence so don't worry about her).
Anyway my boss came in and said Lucy had her leg caught in the belly strap of her rug so i went out to sort her out. By the time i got over there She had got her leg out of the rug but had pulled the rug round a little. She saw me coming and started to head over to me. She had to cross the river to get to me but when she was halfway through she stopped to eat some weeds. She stood there for ages eating and the water was right up to her belly!!!!! I called and called but she would not come out so i had to wade in to pull her rug back into place. I wish i had had my camera on me it was so funny and she looked so sweet standing in the river eating.
Just wanted to share how much i Love my pony and how much she makes me laugh with her funny little ways. :D :D :D :D
 
Our field has a pond in it, which floods every year and the field is soggy for months. We get loads of pond weed growing whilst it is wet and the horses LOVE it!

When it was icy the whole flooded part of the field was solid ice, horses have to negotiate their way around it to get from stables to dry part of field, which they do every day taking the same route one behind the other (they have made a path around the edge). One morning the fat pony decided to take a short cut across the ice, think she was day dreaming as she got about half way, skidded then realised what she was standing on. She looked across at me as if to say "help, gimme a piggy back", took her ages to figure out she was gonna have to get herself onto solid ground!
