The vet came up to see Lucy today and she said she was amazed at her progress. The lumps have started to reduce and the lymph gland on her right stiffle is back to normal already. She is very well in herself and appart from almost looking her age due to lack of work and the steroids. There has been no more blood from her eyes, nose or in her urine and she is showing no sines of steroid enduced laminitas so i think we are heading in the right direction.
Not bad considering the vets gave her a less than 50% chance.
Her dose of steroids is being reduced to 10 tablets everyother day for a week then down to 7 1/2 tablets every other day. The vet will come out in a months time to have another look unless the lumps get bigger again.
