Lump. Also in vet.

Ellie has a lump on her side, towards the back, below her ribs. It is hard and about the size of half a small marble, perhaps smaller. It doesn't bother her (I had a good prod and poke) and it is covered in hair and seemingly under the skin. It doesn't move.

She is absolutely fine, grumpy as ever, eating well, lovely shiny coat, fit and healthy in every other way.

She is 27, don't know if that makes a difference?

Any ideas?

cheiro1, thats what i thought as one of my horses has quite a few lumps under the skin, they are deffo fly bites and some are as big as described. probably from midges, there are millions at the mo. (i could be wrong)
