After several weeks of lameness horse had MRI yesterday, spoken to the vet today about the results must say they are not what I was expecting.

First problem the vet is focusing on is a lump in the navicular bursa, not even sure what this means, she is going back to them tomorrow to be injected into the bursa.

There is also damage to the collateral ligament and navicular changes to both front feet.

She is a rising 7 year old warmblood who is used for dressage but has been brought on very slowly owing to daughters uni schedule and a lameness problem in her right hind last year.

This new lameness is in her near front.

If anybody can offer any advice or experience with a lump in the navicular bursa it would be greatly appreciated.
