Hi

Help please as i cant find anything on the internet about it...

my loan horse has a lump that has been getting bigger over the last couple of months near his sheath, i think it is to the left of it. He has put on a bit of belly weight due to the spring grass but he isnt over weight...

I am a little worried about it and am wondering if it would be better to be safe then sorry and get the vet out... any advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Bonnie

it may just be a sarcoid or a fatty lump.......

but anything growing that quickly I would want the vet out a.s.a.p. to look at it! (make sure you tell them how quickly it has progressed!)

Could just be a lipoma or some other benign thing, if it has been there for a couple of months it is unlikely to be a fly bite.

Could it have been there a lot longer and you have not noticed.

If there is any heat or further swelling, then get your vet as soon as you can, otherwise maybe just call him and see what he wants to do.
