Lump on horses chest

Hi, my yearling has had a lump on his chest for 2-3 weeks now. It appeared suddenly and feels soft and squishy and doesn't bother him. The vet is coming Tuesday but I can't get it off my mind :(. Any one any ideas what it could be?
 
It could be a fly bite. My mare had what looked like a dog's testicle hanging from the loose skin between her front legs. Six weeks later it was still there and unchanged despite all my efforts with a hose pipe. So I gave her homeopathic Apis Mel and it was gone 48 hours later.

Thank you for replying! Oh right! That's interesting.. Someone else said fly bite, others have said it could be a cyst. I was terrified invade its a sarcoid! It's quite soft and squishy tho.
