Lump on injection site.

As above it was over 2 weeks ago when my horse had his flu jab and he has a large lump. Is this normal? As he has never had a lump before.

Not normal.

Possible a reaction to the vaccine - get your vet to check this, it likely will settle down but they can check him over just the same and register the reaction to the VMD if appropriate.

Michah had a lump for probably 6 to 8 wks. In fact so long I got used to it being there. This was earlier in the year, but its not there anymore

My dog gets lumps after injections, it is due to panniculitis an infection/inflammation of the subcutaneous fat. This is rare but can also occur in horses so I would get the lump checked as the longer you leave it the harder it will be to deal with. We have reduced some lumps with ice packs but others have had to be surgically removed.
