My lovely rising 2 filly injured herself and now is left with a lump. No bone issues x-rays confirmed. No lameness at all. Just this lump. Any ideas on what will reduce it?
Photo attached. Just below knee on off fore.
Thanks everyone

Can't see the photo, but two things will happen. The scar tissue will reduce in time, usually over about a year or so, and the filly is going to grow bigger and the scar tissue won't, and it will look smaller.

I'd try not to worry about it.

Thanks. I really wanted to show her in youngster classes. How much will it matter at local level?

I don't show so I can't answer that but hopefully someone else will be able to advise, if you put a thread in Tack Room with a title "Local showing and scars" of something like that.
