hi, i am very new to here, please bear with me! have tried to join in an old thread about lumps but to no avail, hence now trying to start a new one! these lumps come up on the right hand side of her spine, regardless of type of saddle, numnah and length of time ridden. so far i have found that the general thoughts are that this is a leeky blood vessel. the only time the lumps dont appear is when ridden in treeless or western, however, having thought i'd cured the problem, a vet pointed out that there is no swelling as the pressure is equal and there is no room for the swelling to come up, like you put pressure on a cut. so back to square one? am wandering if anyone out there has this problem and has solved it or knows any more about this leeking vessels?! one vet has said they didnt think it was anything to worry about, but obviously iam! vessels are meant to contain blood after all! am i getting paranoid and worrying too much? could this lead to future problems, burst vessels?? if the swelling isnt appearing with the treeless, is it still leaking? am having my own vet out for something else soon so will ask his opinion and wandering whether to try master saddlers ass'? really appreciate any ideas and thoughts :)
