Noticed as I tacked up this morning a lump under my horses jaw. Its between his cheek bones, under his chin if that makes sense? This morning is was a round swelling, more hard than soft and there was no reaction when I poked and prodded it. This evening I have checked it again and its got longer, not higher (again if that makes sense?). Still no reaction when touched. I rang vet who asked if he was acting normal, ie eating etc and he is. He said more than likely just a swollen gland, but if it doesn't improve or it gets worse then he may have to have antibiotics. Has anyone else seen any thing like this?
