Well firstly i noticed little hard lumps along my boys spine, they DO NOT hurt him at all, ive ran my fingers along them very hard (plenty of pressure) and he does not flinch or show any signs of pain. I researched kissing spines but it states that horses will be reluctant to move when ridden, wont jump or canter ect and extreme discomfort under saddle, but my boy has non of this, he wants to be away more than anything! What do you think it could be? Will back man/lady be required? Lots of rest? I use thick numnahs for padding and i was planning on getting saddle fitter to come out soon.
Secondly, how long has your horses fly bites lasted? mine has 2 big ones on his face, one on the top and another under
Thirdly, i noticed a slight swelling under his head just behind muzzle, im going to see if there is a difference tomorrow, im not sure if he just clipped himself with his foot while grazing or play fighting with a friend or if its an irritation, there is alot of buttercups in the field, i thought it may be this? what does buttercup rash look like? im worry too much!!
