Lumps on legs, but no pain?

Was washing Beau's legs after riding and found on his back legs only, lumps/swelling type bits. I squeezed them and no reaction, they are not hot - in fact nor is any of his leg or hoof. HE is not lame and in fact seems to be enjoying his work MORE than usual. He has been wearing boots on all his legs when ridden. The only thing is that his hind legs aren't clipped out at the moment, and he gets very greasy hard skin.

Here is his back legs when trimmed in Jan and the area in the box is around where the swelling in on BOTH sides on his legs on both legs.

He does have lumpy lower legs anyways, as you can see from the pic as he was feathered for years and hunted so god knows what was happening under there. He already has splints from when he was a youngster.

Yep, they look like windgalls. Most are completely innocent, and happen due to concussion (usually work/turnout on hard ground). If he's sound, I wouldn't worry about them at all. You might notice they get bigger when the ground is hard.
