lumps post clipping ?

clipped my showjumper sunday , since then developed lumps on his body , not typical of hives , some arent bothering him , but some are sore and bit warm , he has never been like this after clipping , poss just had a reaction ?.

could be a reaction to the oil (that is common) or it could be a reaction to the rugs or what the rugs have been washed in
