Helloo there lovely hho'ers,

Just wondered what you do?

A lunging session for me at the moment (creaky 18 yr old ex racer coming back into work) consists of transitions and spirals we are just starting to ask for a little more collection or extension.

We always do a little ground work before and after as well.

Any exercises anybody else swears by???

Just trying to build some muscle before we get on as she has been off with back problems so once she is working consistently will use a pessoa as well. Here's a pic of my girly at the mo (not great i'm afraid) Hopefully she'll have toned up considerably by the end of the summer.

P.s. we also walk her out in hand and do a little long lining!

a tad unorthodox but I schooled my ex racer in walk bareback when he was first coming back into work after injury. Depends on the type of back problem (and her temprament!) tho of course!

It did mean I could get him to loosen up gently without over taxing him.

other than that, it sounds like you're doing exactly what you should be doing!
