hullo, right i need some recomendations please!
i have recently started working full time, and have taken on a second horse for a while to help a friend out. these points combined mean that i am pretty pushed for time keeping two horses fit and managing to get home before the clock strikes midnight (was away from home between 6.30am and 8.30pm yesterday

)! I plan to lunge one horse, and ride the other each night midweek, obviously alternating and giving each horse a day or two off.
However i want to make sure that they are working properly whilst being lunged. i dont see the point in just making them run in circles, they need to be using themselves. My mare is also pretty nervy to lunge, however i can definately get around that - i just need something that i can introduce gradually.
So, any suggestions? i know loads of people will shout 'PESSOA' at me, but i cannot afford to spend £80, and it needs to be adjustable, as it will be used on two differant horses - with a hand's size differance - although the same rug size (i dont know if thats relevant). thanks in advance

Have you looked on the DIVOZA website ? Pessoa's are quite cheap on there. Out of everything I've tried, pessoa does seem superior. Adjustment will be need to be made between horses but will depend more on what level they are at in their education as opposed to size. Failing that I have also used a lungee bungee, which I thought was good too.

Blimey, that's cheap!
I have an Equibalancer off eBay, and compared to my friend's original Pessoa, it just has a different tightening system and thinner ropes. Works fine though!

I have one of the cheaper versions of the Pessoa which i bought off Ebay for about £35 i think a couple of years ago. If you compare it to my friend 'proper' Pessoa they are practically the same apart from where you tighten/loosen it at the back.
