Just a quick question. I like to lunge the ponies at least once a week, and my sec A more often as I don't really want to totally squish him!

At the moment I use the bridle (with reins taken off) and put the lunge rein through the nearside bit ring and hook to the other side, or the roller D ring depending on which pony it is. Or I just use the cavesson, but then I always worry that clipping the side reins onto the rings on the noseband must be uncomfortable, even though the side reins are not really tight, just enough to make them work properly.

Is there a cavesson which has attachments for a bit, which would mean I don't have to keep switching the lunge rein around each time I change the rein and the side reins could go to the bit.

Thanks! :)

Yep, I have a lovely leather lunge cavesson that has slots & little leather loops to fasten a bit to. I think a few of the leather ones do, and there is probably a way on most synthetic ones... have a hunt around! I would offer you mine but I don't think it would fit a Sec A :/

You used to be able to buy bit connectors (small straps to connect a bit to a cavesson or headcollar). I think Rideaway still sell them.
